Welcome to the Terras Trust, the supporters' trust for Weymouth FC. On this site you can find information on who we are and what we've been doing.

Trust Statement

In accordance with the election rules, the inaugral trust board meeting was held on 17th June at Weymouth Working Mens club. The board are pleased to announce that Anthony Sams and Mark Golsby have been elected as Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively. We are also pleased to announce that the board ratified the decison taken by the election supervisory group, namely that the selection of the WFC board representative should be made by the membership. The process for this election is currently being planned and nominees from the trust board will be circulated to members in due course.

A large number of agenda items has necessitated a subsequent meeting which will be held on tuesday 24th June. Minutes from these meetings, once formally approved, will be published on our website in accordance with standard trust procedures. The board will now begin to formulate a business plan and further appointments of Officers will be announced as they happen.

Finally all board members would like to thank the membership for participating in the election process and giving us a clear mandate to drive the trust forward.

Elections

The Trust recently held its inaugural elections. The results were announced at an Extraordinary General Meeting with special guest Chair Paul Durkin. Also in attendance was the independent Returning Officer Neil Le Milliere, board member of both Exeter City Supporter's Trust and Supporters' Direct, who congratulated the trust on the fantastic achievements of the election. New Website

Regular visitors to the site will have noticed that the site has a new look and layout. This is both to fulfil web accessibility legislation and to further the site as a tool for communicating with our members. Besides the obvious aesthetic changes, many behind-the-scenes changes will help us deliver more useful and up-to-date content, much of which will be coming very shortly.
